Placing of orders
The client places his/her order including the acceptance of a deadline proposed or a proposal for a deadline with GASSER Otto + Daniel GmbH.
Our performances
Our service is delivered on the day stipulated in the form desired. Subject to different agreements in writing translations of up to eight (8) pages A4 (max. 25 standard lines per page) are usually sent by e-mail, fax or mail within three (3) days after the arrival of the text to be translated.
Dates of delivery will be acknowledged on condition they have been agreed upon in writing expressly.
Pricing
The price of translations depends on the relevant language. Prices are calculated per line translated. The standard line comprises 55 characters without spaces.
Proof-reading and correction as well as jobs which cannot be calculated on the basis of the text volume are priced at hourly rates or acc. to the quotation.
Upon agreement, price surcharges are levied for express orders, i.e. order to be done in less than 24 hours.
Delivery is free of charge (exc. express delivery and courier).
Should a quotation have been submitted, the final invoice must not exceed by more than 10 percent from the amount quoted.
Terms of payment
Invoices are due within 30 days net from the date of invoice. In case of payment after the date due GASSER Otto + Daniel GmbH reserves the right to invoice cost for the collection of the invoice.
Cancellation of a mandate
The cancellation of a mandate must be implemented immediately and in writing. Works already done and cost having incurred have to be paid by the client.
Secrecy
GASSER Otto + Daniel GmbH guarantees the secrecy of data and documents within the meaning of the applicable Data Protection Act to the client.
Copyright
The client himself / herself is responsible for the proper handling of copyrights in conjunction with the texts to be translated. Translations are exclusively meant for use by the client, and each commercial or other duplication or use is the client’s sole responsibility with GASSER Otto + Daniel GmbH. being fully discharged.
Should GASSER Otto + Daniel GmbH nevertheless be prosecuted for the violation of copyrights, the client has to accept potential claims related to the prosecution.
Liability
Claims concerning services can only be taken into consideration, when they are presented in the form of a statement in writing within thirty (30) days after the delivery of the translation. In case of justified claims we will revise the translation free of charge or, if required, make it up again.
Applicable law / venue
These general terms and conditions are covered by Swiss law.
